It's Official!

Melinda Beavers wins! Congrats, Melinda!

Miss Snark had a vicious poodle, and I have an adorable paper-eating monster. (So I believe I win, too. Nyah, nyah.)

Thanks to Melinda, and also many sincere thanks to everyone who sent me a slush monster! And you seemed to have such fun doing it! I have awesome readers.

(Melinda, you mentioned on your blog that you weren't quite happy with him... email me ok?)

Wow, many thanks to all of you who voted for me!
I also want to thank EA for holding this competition, it's been so much fun seeing the various submissions along the way and I'm honored to be selected among such a talented group, especially the other two amazing finalists.
Thank you!

I didn't vote because I honestly couldn't choose - they were all so cute! But this is a wonderful choice. Congratulations Melinda!

Yay, Melinda!

May I suggest that Melinda's name be enhnaced to a readable size so that industry people stopping by the EA blog can track her down?

Might result in some work tossed her way.

(this coming from a YA writer who can't draw a straight line with a ruler.)

EA -- I'm Anon 9:33. Um, of course you're way ahead of me. Now that I think about it, I don't even know why I made that stupid post.

Feeling bossy today, I guess.

--Cheers!

How interesting that virtually all the monsters are variations on the dinosaur/dragon theme. Time for a bit of compulsory viewing of Monsters Inc, I think, to remind us how many varieties of monster there can be!
