So far I've gotten two (2) synopses, which is a pretty paltry showing.
Now, I know it takes some guts (and perhaps tequila) to take the stage, which is why they have karaoke in bars rather than coffee shops.
So you've got the rest of the weekend to get appropriately tipsy and belt out your homage to Little Women. Or whatever book doesn't have any of those difficult high notes.

EA, I fear the anticipation of holdiay turkey and cranberries has clouded your vision as to what your EA minions are capable of. I can't even write a coherent synopsis for my own work, and you want me to do it for someone else's? You think too much of me, EA.
Sorry, EA. Got sidelined with a cold. I'll see what I can come up with this weekend.
And cc - this is great practice for us. An opportunity not to be wasted! It's not like we're putting onr of our own babies out there, so there's, hopefully, less of a risk to the writer's fragile ego.
maybe if you could figure out some way to transmit alcohol over the internet...
I can't even keep my own synopses under 250 words.
I'll take the plunge and promise a synopsis to Pillars of the Earth (no, really) after I finish it. I'm about 1/5 of the way through (with the book, not the synopsis) but I'll give it a go just for sport.
BTW, I've found the best way to write a synopsis is to do a synopsis of the synopsis. I can usually get down to 2 or 3 meaty paragraphs on my first go without too much pain. Then I walk away. Come back a day later and chisel out unnecessary details. Wash, rinse, repeat.
