Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.

I need to redecorate every six months or so. Good thing I have so many books.

  1. Awww, but you no longer have Shannon Hale's Book of a Thousand Days up there, and she's my favorite author. :(

Is okay, though. I'll forgive you, just this once.

  3. You mean your six months?
Don't worry, it's still in my bookshelves. ;)
    When's your next book out?

  4. So you're a serious Debbie Wiles fan... Each Little Bird and Aurora County, but where's Ruby Lavender?

  5. Heh, yeah. My fleeting six months.

The tentatively titled "O.T.M.A: DAUGHTERS OF THE TSAR" is currently slated for a space on Atheneum's 2011 list.

    A plea of vanity:
Apparently in six months I neglected to save a copy of the nifty banner that so prominently featured MISS SPITFIRE's spine. If anyone else has it, would you take pity on my ego and send me a copy at: sarah (at) sarahmillerbooks (dot) com. Pretty please?

  6. My vanity/posterity complex has been assuaged -- many thanks to Sheila Ruth.

  7. The one with the gold spine beneath the emerald oval - it looks familiar, but I can't remember what it is. Help.

  11. Yeah, Bebe, I caught that too. A little hint perhaps, EA? That's kind of evil of you.

  12. It's a good book. Isn't it in your bookshelves?

  13. It is, in fact, on my bookshelf. If only I would have only gotten up and checked before posting, but I'm too lazy. Ms. Ibbotson is one of my favorites and I'm reading her latest book now.

It is Star of Kazan, isn't it?

  15. Hmmmm....
Those books are nice and all. But I'm sure a photo of your slush pile would be just as pretty.

  16. Oh, True Meaning of Smekday... how happy I am to see you on what I don't doubt is a very selective shelf...

  17. EA, you're new banner reminds me of the photos from San Francisco's Adobe Bookshop. In 2004, an artist created a temporary exhibit, re-arranging the the entire store by color. Here's a link to the article and some photos: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4182224
    Enjoy!

  18. Thanks for the link, Shari, that was amazing. I can't imagine the work to make, and then "unmake," that project, but I bet it brought out some interesting juxtapositions.

(sorry if this is entered twice, I can't tell whether my first entry actually posted)

  20. My book's spine is red. It could look really pretty in there.
Sorry! Couldn't help myself. Yay for Eva Ibbotson.
