I'm waiting for someone to wonder why it was some of the queries I saw promise in that I ripped into hardest. And I've been thinking about that myself. I think it's partially that I hate being disappointed, so when I see some glimmer, I start looking harder for the thing that will tell me not to hope.
Alas, hope springs eternal. And anonymity keeps me from getting to see these manuscripts. Double-blast.
It's nice to know that you're human, EA, so thank you for offering that tidbit.
Darn ... too bad we couldn't figure out a way to get past the shield of anonymity. =P
